Norwalk, Los Angeles County
Three freeways meet in Norwalk: Interstate 5, the 605 and the 105, which ends here beside the last station on a light rail line across south Los Angeles. The city sits about 17 miles southeast of downtown. Los Angeles County keeps its main registrar and records office in Norwalk, so many county residents come here for marriage licenses and birth certificates.
